March is probably the best month to visit Ireland. St. Patrick’s day is officially celebrated on March 17th, but people start the party earlier.

There are many reasons to visit Ireland but here is my favorite: St. Patrick’s Festival. In 2008 it will be held between March 13th and March 17th including amazing music performances, street theatres, carnivals, comedy, dances, , night spectacles and of course a treasure hunt!

Treasure hunt is great fun. Its open to EVERYONE, no matter of age and gender. Participants can investigate hidden haunts and gain free entry to prestigious cultural centres. They get mermaid, pirate and underwater themed costumes and compete for spot prizes along the way. The swiftest, smartest and sassiest swashbucklers are in with a chance to win. They only thing you should to to take part is to register in the City Hall between 10 am and 1 pm, then the game ends at 5 pm and you have the rest of the night free fo green beer!
