There are a few ways to get to the heart of Dublin after you land in Ireland.

- Taxis: available from the forecourt on the Arrivals level road. All licensed taxis are obliged to display fare information and give receipt printed by the printer attached to the meter. A taxi to the city center should cost around €25-30. There is a national standardised rate for all taxis. If you have problems, you can contact www.taxiregulator.ie or call National SPSV Consumer Information line on 890 60 60 90.

- Bus: Dublin Airport is accessible by over 700 buses and coaches daily. From the airport you can reach many areas in and around Dublin, as well as various locations outside the capital.
The local bus company is http://www.dublinbus.ie - it offers regular services for €1.90 and express services for €7. Xpresso routes are direct, more frequent and offer passengers a quicker service, they also have fewer stops. If you see “An Lár” written as the destination on a bus, it means that it is going to the city center.

- Rent-a-car:
services are available from providers such as Herz, Avis, Europcar. It can be difficult to find parking other than in multi-storey car parks. Onstreet parking for short periods is allowed at parking meters, but beware of over-staying your time or you will be “clamped” by the clamping companies who patrol frequently.

- Rail and Metro: are not available
