Lonely Planet finally followed the hype and opened its own TV channel. Applause!

I am huge fan of online TV, probably because I do not watch normal TV (due to the fact that I do not even have TV set… another story). Good thing with online TVs is that they can be true. Or at least they do not have the high level of auto-censorship normal TV imply.

So, as you already guessed, Lonely Planet’s TV channel is available online 24/7 and there you will have the chance to see hilarious travel movies. I am pretty sure that some of them will never appear on TV just because of the above mentioned media auto-censorship. On Youtube.com/user/LonelyPlanet or Lovelyplanet.tv you can be featured too!

Lonely Planet’s Television production team uses the website to scout for new filmmaking talent and pays US$500 for the best videos uploaded to the site. Are you World’s Next Traveler?

See sample - video-still animation about Amsterdam. I like the part when she asks them where they’re from and they say that they don’t know where they’re from, lol.
