Lessno’s efforts to deliver better airfare deals at lowest prices has been recognized by Chicago Tribune in this weekend’s edition. Thanks to all our customers who shop with us! :-)
Lessno, which is derived from “less money, no hassle,” bills itself as an online travel agency that provides wholesale airline ticket prices to the retail consumer (a.k.a. you and me). The company utilizes a patented travel search technology it calls EZ Search to collect and display the lowest fares to a given destination. Does it work? Well, that’s not an easy question to answer without running an exhaustive study over a meaningful period of time, however one recent search for a round-trip ticket from Chicago to Honolulu yielded more expensive options than did an identical search at Travelocity. I wouldn’t hold this against Lessno, as one search does not a representative sample make. The user interface is clean and simple, which makes for quick searches. As the site grows and continues to bring on new travel partners, it should merit at least a quick visit for those booking expensive or international airline tickets.
I’ll tell you a secret: currently we have hot deals to/from destinations in Asia and Australia.
