Myanmar, also known as Burma (up to1989) is politically controversial state. It is said that people there tattoo their faces believing that this will save them from evil. The custom is more than 3 centuries old and was created to protect the young girls from being kidnapped and forced to concubine.

With this post we join the International Day of the World’s Indigenous People. The date was settled by the united Nations. The day celebrates human rights, dignity and development with identity.
