Getting to/from the Munich Airport (MUC) is quite easy. All you have to do is to catch the S-bahn. The S-bahn is Munich’s train system. The S8 line will take you directly to the city center at Karlplatz or Marienplatz (where the City Hall is). The S1 line also goes to the city center, but it takes a few minutes more.

Be prepared for a long trip. Form/to the airport to the city center by S-bahn is about 40 minutes trip. Tickets can be purchased from the machines at the entrance.
