I just found this extremely useful flash that teaches the numbers in Chinese. Well, if you’re Chinese you might not find this fascinating but I do.

Laura said that she would use the hand-signs to order in noisy crowded bars instead of screaming to the bartenders… Sounds great but won’t they misunderstand you when you wave your fist at them (and you are just calling for another ten tequilas)?

You can find the numbers here & play them. You may have to search around these lists, but there is a lot of info in many languages. I just can’t figure out how to play the words streaming.

We used the cross of either the middle-finger over the digital-finger or the right digital-finger over the left to indicate 10. A closed loop between thumb and digital-finger works great as O, while the fist can also mean 5!
