If there is something you must try in Vienna is to have a snack wof beer and sausages. Even if you don’t like meat, it will be pity to miss this attraction!

The right place to ask for such fast food luncheon is called Würstelstand (read as [vyurstel shtand]) which translated means stand for sausages. These are spread all over the city, on major tourist points and not so popular places. It will be hard to miss them!

CAT stands for City Airport Train, one of hte best options to get to Vienna city center for no time from the airport. Rates can be found on CAT’s official website: http://www.cityairporttrain.com/ but here is what my friends and I did: when you walk out of the airport, go to the train and talk to any of the CAT girls, they hang around the CAT ticket machines and can help you a lot especially if you are not individual traveler and you are not sure where is your hotel.

Lonely Planet finally followed the hype and opened its own TV channel. Applause!

I am huge fan of online TV, probably because I do not watch normal TV (due to the fact that I do not even have TV set… another story). Good thing with online TVs is that they can be true. Or at least they do not have the high level of auto-censorship normal TV imply.
