I hate all these airport security precautions we all suffer after 9/11 but you know what — now I can hardly remember how it was before the attacks.

The video ironically explains how the newly developed airport security device will be put in action. I’d be funny it it wasn’t so dramatic. Is flying that complicated travel experience? What happens to everyone who is blamed on terrorism?

We’ve been discussing many times how risky it could be to be a flight attendant. Accidents happen and the last one comes from Jet Airways. As HindustanTimes reports, a Jet airhostess accidentally fell from an aircraft at the Delhi airport on Friday morning while she was trying to close the plane’s door. Sources said she fell headfirst and was immediately rushed to the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre in Vasant Kunj. “She did not received any serious injury and is doing fine now. However, she hasn’t been discharged from the hospital as doctors want to keep her under observation for some time,” said a Jet Airways spokesman. He said the airline was bearing all expenses for the treatment.

This week was closed the German airport Tempelhof. The airport had interesting history and now, when it shut down for ever, my main wonders are what they are going to construct there?

Tempelhof had its own trace in history. In the beginning of the century it was one of the busiest airports. Lufthansa was founded in Tempelhof in 1926. Then during WWII the airport continued to play important role for the local people and the war tactics.

The idea airport to be closed dates back to 1996 when the local government took the decision that the entire planning should aim at concentrating domestic and international air traffic in Berlin and Brandenburg at one airport: Berlin-Schönefeld International Airport. To ensure investment protection as well as to fend off opposition to Schöenefeld International’s expansion, it was mandated that first Tempelhof and then Tegel must be closed.
