March is probably the best month to visit Ireland. St. Patrick’s day is officially celebrated on March 17th, but people start the party earlier.

There are many reasons to visit Ireland but here is my favorite: St. Patrick’s Festival. In 2008 it will be held between March 13th and March 17th including amazing music performances, street theatres, carnivals, comedy, dances, , night spectacles and of course a treasure hunt!

Statue of Christ Redeemer survived unique storm last week and was hit by lighting as UPPA reported. The statue was voted last year one of the new seven wonders. It is symbol of new modern world and Brazil. With its 130 fl. height it is no wonder that it attracts lightning! No doubt, it was beautiful and scary:
