Planning a trip to France? Read this real story and plan carefully.

In short:

  • It turns out employees of Air France live by one motto: I will only put enough energy into my job so as to prevent my customers from hassling me.
  • The next day, I was back at the airport, on my way to Nice. … She said that my bag would be on my new flight, and that it would be waiting for me when I landed. Great! But, in actuality, this was the first case of someone lying to me to just make me feel OK so I didn’t hassle her. So, I land in Nice, and of course, no bag.

  • That stroller never showed up. Several days later, when we were back at that awful Paris airport, I decided to look for the stroller. I went to the baggage office outside the main baggage claim area, but they told me I had to get into the restricted baggage claim area. Uh, how do I do this? Since I watched Paris, Je T’Aime (Paris, I Love You) I can’t stop thinking of this movie every time when somebody mentions France in general. The movie is made by 18 independent stories; all of them are charming and lovely, as for the casting and the directors, the list is full of celebrities. If you expect to see rising suspense and absolute action, leave your expectations right here. Paris, Je T’Aime is fragmented view for passion and amour.
