A friend of mine used to tell this story: once upon a time in France the wine was equivalent to the finest medicines. Today you’re advised to drink Perrier but then people used to drink wine as now-a-days we drink water. So, the king was there drinking wine all the time until he got sick (logically; it’s called hangover).

Hourra, voyageur! Where is your high school French dictionary? Pack it because this November we’ll take you to France!

Most people believe that France is Paris. That when you go there you fall in love, waste money in Channel on Champs Elysees and talk about romantic revolution and politics with the local artists. Mexico’s International Airport is located some 18 kilometers from Mexico City. Quite surprisingly the airport does not have direct shuttle from the airport to the city. Relax, there are still a few other ways to reach the city.

Remember one thing for sure: Do not accept offers from taxi rides when you walk out of the airport. Never do this. Instead ask an official at the tourist information desk where to find the taxis or eventually ask them to call for one for you. Radio taxis are a little bit more expensive but they are safer and won’t use bootleg to charge you more. Between 10 pm and 5 am the price is usually 20% higher (night rate). Tipping is up to you and the accepted is from 5 to 20 pesos.
One of the recommended companies for taxi services is Taximex: call 9171-8888 or 5634-9912.
