There are no big temperature variations all year round, but precipitation levels might be critical for your pleasant experience in Brazil. Humid season lasts from October to March. The best time for vacation is late May – June and August – early September with July is the coldest month.

General:

• Capital of Brazil the country is Brazil, the city.
• The largest city is Sao Paolo.
• Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city and was capital of Brazil in the
  period (1763 – 1960).
• Near Rio de Janeiro is the huge statue of Christ Redeemer which last year
  was announced as one of the new seven wonders.
• Brazilians often complain about local governmental policies and politics
  (and sometimes are right).
• But they become very defensive when foreigners have negative comments on
  same topics.
• Local language is Portuguese, it sounds like Spanish but it’s not.
• Racism is official crime and you can sleep in jail for it. Be careful what
  you say.
