First of all, Croatia is awesome and Split is definitely one if its finest pearls. It is picturesque, romantic and yes, it is true, it is a shoe shop paradise. Almost every second shop is for footwear in all colors, models and sizes. If you love shopping as much as I do, you will love it!

One week after the tragedy in Sao Paolo I read a survival rate article published on Popularmechanics.com which discusses the controversial question “Are there safer places in this plane?”.

According to the diagram it seems that the back seats are 20% safer than the front ones: another reason to save your money from the business class and dive into the authentic economy atmosphere.

Camping is great way to feel the nature under your skin. However nature should be preserved. Here are a few basic things we should keep in mind when going into the woods.

Before you leave
Check the weather forecast a few days in advance and the day before you leave. I usually check more than one site always thinking what a meteorologist once told me: “Weather is not precise and that is why it is a forecast, not a plan.” However you can make your plan, by packing waterproof raincoats and good shoes. When there are signs that it might be raining, better do not go. In cities we are safe from storms, but in the mountains the situation is serious and even dangerous especially when there are thunders and lightnings.

The longed summer is marked by extreme heats but unfortunately sun is not always good to us. Often many people suffer Hyperthermia, also called sunstroke.
